Sometimes you need parts of the same order shipped to different locations -- maybe one batch of banners goes to your office and another goes straight to an event venue. Prints by Patriot lets you split orders into multiple shipments right from the checkout screen.

Step 1: Add All Your Items to Cart

Build your order as usual. Add all the products you need to your cart, regardless of where they're going. You'll sort out the shipping destinations in the next step.

On the cart page, you'll see a Ship to Multiple Address button below the Continue button. Click it to enter the split shipment flow.

Step 2: Assign Ship Locations and Methods

After clicking Ship to Multiple Address, each item in your cart gets its own Ship Location and Ship Method controls:

For each item, you can:

  • Click Ship Location to change the destination address -- pick from saved addresses or add a new one
  • Choose Pickup or Shipping under Ship Method
  • Select a specific carrier option (FedEx Ground, FedEx 2 Day, etc.) from the dropdown

Step 3: Choose Shipping Methods for Each Shipment

Each shipment gets its own shipping method and cost. For example, you might send one batch via FedEx Ground and rush another via FedEx Priority Overnight.

Available shipping options include:

MethodTypical Price Range
PickupFree
FedEx GroundStarting around $14
FedEx Express SaverStarting around $23
FedEx 2 DayStarting around $26
FedEx Standard OvernightStarting around $35
FedEx Priority OvernightStarting around $39

(Exact prices depend on package size, weight, and destination.)

Step 4: Review and Complete Checkout

Before proceeding to payment, review each shipment group to make sure the right items are going to the right addresses with the right shipping speeds. Then continue to the Payment Details step and complete your order.

When This Comes in Handy

  • Event logistics -- ship signage directly to multiple venues
  • Multi-location businesses -- send materials to each branch or storefront
  • Client fulfillment -- you ordered on behalf of a client and need their portion shipped separately
  • Mixed urgency -- rush-ship the time-sensitive items and send the rest at a lower cost

One Order, Multiple Destinations

No need to place separate orders for each location. Split shipments keep everything organized under one order while getting each package exactly where it needs to go.
