How to Order Multiple Versions of the Same Job

Need the same banner or sign with different artwork? Maybe you're printing event signage for multiple sponsors, or you need variations of the same design. Prints by Patriot makes it easy to order multiple versions of a product in a single order -- no need to place separate orders for each one.

Step 1: Configure Your Product

Start by selecting your product and setting up the specs in the Price Calculator -- size, material, hems, grommets, and production time. These settings will apply to all versions.

Step 2: Upload Your First Artwork File

Click Upload Artwork & Add To Cart to go to the upload page. You'll see:

  • A Job Name (auto-generated -- you can rename it to something meaningful like "Sponsor A Banner")
  • A Front Page upload area for your first artwork file

Upload your first design by dragging and dropping the file or clicking Select File.

Step 3: Click "Duplicate Job +" to Add More Versions

Here's the key feature: the Duplicate Job + button at the bottom of the upload page. Click it to add another version to your order.

Each time you click it, a new upload section appears with:

  • Its own Job Name (rename it to keep things organized -- e.g., "Sponsor B Banner")
  • Its own Front Page upload area for different artwork

The new version shares the same size, material, and finishing options you already configured -- the only thing that changes is the artwork.

Step 4: Repeat for Each Version

Keep clicking Duplicate Job + for as many versions as you need. Upload unique artwork for each one.

Step 5: Add Everything to Cart

When all your versions are uploaded, click Add to Cart. Each version appears as a separate line item in your cart, so you can review them individually, adjust quantities, or remove any you don't need.

From there, continue through checkout as usual -- shipping, payment, done.

Tips

  • Name your jobs clearly. When you have multiple versions, descriptive job names (like "East Entrance Banner" or "Blue Logo Variant") make it much easier to track everything.
  • Same specs, different art. All duplicated jobs share the same product configuration. If you need different sizes or materials, place those as separate product orders.
  • Quantities per version. Each version in your cart has its own quantity, so you can order 10 of one design and 5 of another.

The Duplicate Job feature saves you from configuring the same product over and over. Set it up once, duplicate as many times as you need, upload your artwork, and check out. It's that easy.
