How to Request a Quote
Not sure about pricing for a custom job? Need a quote for a product that isn't listed on the site? Prints by Patriot lets you submit a quote request directly from your account.
Step 1: Go to the Quotes Page
Log in and click Quotes in the left sidebar of your account dashboard.
This page shows all your previous quote requests with their status. You can filter by status or search by keyword.
Step 2: Click "Request Quote"
Click the Request Quote button in the top-right corner of the Quotes page.
Step 3: Fill Out the Quote Form
The form has two modes:
For an Existing Product
Select Existing under Product Type. This lets you pick from products already in the Patriot catalog and request specific pricing or quantities.
For a Custom Product
Select Custom (the default) to describe a product that may not be listed. Fill in the following fields:
- Product Name (required) -- describe what you need (e.g., "Custom die-cut stickers" or "36x48 foam board sign")
- Quantity -- how many you need. Click the + button to add multiple quantity tiers if you want pricing at different volumes.
- Size -- dimensions of the finished product
- Paper/Stock -- the material you'd like (if you know it)
- Sides/Pages -- single-sided, double-sided, or number of pages
- Coating -- None, Matte, Gloss, or Spot UV
- Lamination -- None, Matte, or Gloss
- Additional Details -- any other specifications, special instructions, or questions
- Upload Artwork -- drag and drop a file or click Select File to attach your artwork or reference file
Step 4: Add More Products (Optional)
If your quote involves multiple products, click + Add Product to add another product section to the same quote request. Each product gets its own set of fields.
Step 5: Submit Your Quote
Once everything is filled in, submit the quote. The Patriot team will review your request and respond with pricing.
Tracking Your Quotes
All your quotes are tracked on the Quotes page with these statuses:
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Quotation Pending | Your request has been submitted and is awaiting review |
| Customer Review Pending | Patriot has responded -- check the quote for their pricing |
| Admin Review Pending | You've replied and Patriot is reviewing your response |
| Quotation | Quote has been provided |
| Quotation Approved | You've approved the quote |
| Quotation Completed | The quoted job has been ordered |
| Quote Cancelled | Quote was cancelled |
| Quote Rejected | Quote was declined |
From any existing quote, you can:
- View Details -- see the full quote with product specs and pricing
- Print -- generate a printable version
- Requote -- submit a new quote based on an existing one
- Requote Product -- requote a specific item within a multi-product quote
When to Request a Quote
- Custom sizes or materials not available in the online calculator
- Large volume orders where you want to negotiate pricing
- Specialty products or unusual specifications
- Multi-product packages where you want bundled pricing
- You're not sure what you need -- describe the project and the team will help
